California Residents
Your California Privacy Rights Under CCPA
If you are a California resident, you have certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA), where we are required to comply with the CCPA. These rights include:
Right to know. You have the right to know what information we collect about you, our purposes for using that information, and to whom we share your information. This is covered in Section 1 (‘Information we collect from you’), Section 2 (‘How we use information’) and Section 3 (‘How we store information’) of the Privacy Policy.
Right to delete. You have the right to request that we delete some or all of the personal information that we have about you. Please note that requests to delete data may require deletion of your entire account, which includes your content.
You can make deletion requests by emailing us at privacy@mmhmm.app, and we may ask to verify your information to complete your request. We may retain information if exceptions apply, which may include: to provide services you have purchased; to retain a record of your purchases; to meet certain legal obligations; to prevent fraud, spam or abuse; to cooperate with law enforcement, and to exercise and defend our rights.
Non-discrimination. We will not discriminate against any user who exercises rights under the CCPA. Specifically, we will not: deny access to users who exercise their rights; charge different prices to users who choose to exercise rights; or provide a different quality of service.
California’s “Shine the Light” Law
Under California’s “Shine the Light” law (California Civil Code § 1798.83), California residents have the right to request certain information about disclosure of their information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. At this time, we do not engage in this type of disclosure. However, we do have a comprehensive Privacy Policy that provides details on how you may opt-in or opt-out of the use of your personal information by third parties.
Our Policy on "Do Not Track" Signals under the California Online Protection Act (CalOPPA)
We do not track you over time and across third party websites to provide targeted advertising. Accordingly, we do not currently respond or take any action with respect to web browser "do not track" signals or other mechanisms that generally provide you the ability to exercise choice regarding the collection of information about your online activities over time and across third party websites or online services.
Nevada Residents
Nevada law gives Nevada consumers the right to request that a company not sell their personal information for monetary consideration to certain other parties. This right applies even if their personal information is not currently being sold. If you are a Nevada consumer and wish to exercise this right, please submit your request by sending us an email to privacy@mmhmm.app.
