If you want to record or present a Google Slides, Apple Keynote, or Microsoft PowerPoint presentation in mmhmm but don't want to import slides, you can present it in a window and screen share that window with mmhmm.
Note: By presenting in a window, all toolbars and presenter notes will be hidden from your audience and only your presentation slides will be visible to them.
- In Google Slides, open your presentation.
- In the top right, click ▾ next to Slideshow and select Presentation display options.
- Turn off Full screen.
- Click Start slideshow. The slideshow will start in your current browser window.
- In mmhmm, create a new presentation or open an existing presentation.
- In the top toolbar, click Screenshare.
- Select the Google Slides slideshow window.
- In the side panel, select Fill entire slide.
- Click and drag the top handle of the slideshow to crop the browser address bar out.
- Click and drag the slideshow to reposition it so it fills the entire screen. If it does not, extend the bottom handle.
- In Keynote, open your presentation.
- In the Mac menu bar, go to Play and select In Window.
- In the top toolbar, click the Play icon ▶. Your Keynote slideshow will open in a new window.
- In mmhmm, create a new presentation or open an existing presentation.
- In the top toolbar, click Screenshare.
- Select the Keynote slideshow window.
- In the side panel, select Fill entire slide.
- In PowerPoint, open your presentation.
- Click the Slide Show tab and select Set Up Slide Show.
- Select Browsed by an individual (window).
- Click OK.
- In the Slide Show tab, select From Beginning. Your PowerPoint slideshow will open in a new window.
- In mmhmm, create a new presentation or open an existing presentation.
- In the top toolbar, click Screenshare.
- Select the PowerPoint slideshow window.
- In the side panel, select Fill entire slide.
With your slideshow shared with mmhmm, you can record a video of your presentation or present live on a video call.
