Note: The following steps only work on Mac computers. To share your device screen in mmhmm desktop or web for Windows, read the section below titled, "Share a non-Apple device screen."

  1. Plug your device into your Mac with a Lightning cable.
  2. If your device asks if you want to trust your computer, choose Trust.

You may encounter a popup on your device that says, Is this Lightning adapter connecting a pair of headphones? If so, select Other Device

  3. Open Quicktime Player on your Mac, and select File > New Movie Recording in the menu bar.

  4. In the new Quicktime window that appears, click the carat next to the red record button to reveal the recording sources and select your iOS device from the list. Do not minimize this window.

  5. Next, in mmhmm desktop or web, create a new Share Screen slide. In the new window that appears, scroll down and select the QuickTime Player - Movie Recording window. Then, click Share.

  6. You should now see your iOS device screen appear as a Screen share slide in mmhmm.
