Controllers that work with mmhmm
Here is a list of wireless clickers and controllers that have been verified to work with mmhmm:
- Logitech Spotlight
- Logitech R500s
- Keyspan by Tripp Lite
- Xbox One controller
- PS4 DualShock 4 Wireless Controller
- PS5 DualSense™ Wireless Controller
Note: We've heard of connectivity issues with users running macOS Mojave, we recommend updating to macOS Catalina or later.
Connect your controller
Step 1: Connect your controller via Bluetooth
Depending on what model you're using, pairing your controller to your computer may vary slightly. Find support for pairing in this article for Mac. No matter the case, you should initiate pairing via the controller (read your controller's manual for the exact steps to do so.) Once pairing has been initiated, open your computer's Bluetooth preferences pane, find your controller in the list, and connect to it.
Step 2: Open and update mmhmm
Make sure mmhmm is open and updated to the latest version. To check what version you have, click 'mmhmm' in the toolbar > About mmhmm. To update, click Check for Updates in the same menu.
Step 3: Have fun
The app should be ready to go right out of the box.
