Speaker notes overview

The speaker notes window allows you to control mmhmm when connected to other video conferencing apps. It also enables you to write down notes (like a teleprompter) for each slide of your presentation, so you can refer to them while recording your video or presenting live to an audience.

Note: The speaker notes window is not available on mmhmm in a web browser.

Enable the speaker notes window

Mac Windows

Open the speaker notes window by clicking Speaker Notes under the mmhmm slide tray. Move it anywhere on your screen by clicking and dragging the top of the window.

Use speaker notes (teleprompter)

  1. Click the thumbnail of the slide you want to add speaker notes to.
  2. Type your notes in the box. Your notes will automatically save to the mmhmm slide you're currently on.
  3. Click the existing note to make changes.
  4. Keep the window open during your recording to view and refer to your speaker notes. Advancing to the next slide will automatically advance your notes.
