Edit video captions (subtitles)

Captions (subtitles) allow a larger audience to watch your videos, such as deaf or hard-of-hearing viewers and viewers who speak a different language. Captions are automatically generated when your mmhmm video is published.

Edit automatic captions

Automatic captions are not always 100% accurate and may need to be edited to fix incorrectly transcribed words or remove filler words and sounds.

  1. In mmhmm, click Presentations at the top. This will open your presentation library.

  2. Select the presentation that you've published a video for. Presentations with associated videos will have a Videos section in the right panel.
  3. In the right panel, click Edit under the video. This will open the video editor.

  6. Make your edits to the subtitle line.
  7. When you're done, click anywhere outside the text box. A Captions updated successfully notification will appear at the bottom of your screen.
