Region Specific Privacy Rights - EEA and UK

Users in the EEA and UK have certain privacy rights as under EU and UK law, including the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and UK Data Protection Act 2018.

Our Privacy Policy complies with these laws—this notice makes sure we cover the EEA and UK-specific requirements.

Legal Bases for Processing

If you are a user in the EEA or UK, please note that mmhmm Inc. is the processor of your information. We may transfer your information from your home country to the US or to other countries on the following legal bases:

Consent. You have given us permission to transfer your information. 

Contract. We may transfer your information in order to perform our contract with you, such as to process orders and provide you with access to our services, among other obligations to you in any contract we have with you.

The right to access, update or delete your personal information. Whenever made possible, you can access, update or request deletion of your information directly within the account settings section of our services.

The right of restriction. You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your information.

The right to data portability. You have the right to be provided with a copy of your  information we have in a structured, machine-readable and commonly used format.

The right to withdraw consent. You also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time where we relied upon your consent to process your information.

You may send us a request to utilize your rights to privacy@mmhmm.app. Please note that we may ask you to verify your identity before responding to such requests. Additionally, the functionality of the services may be adversely affected depending upon how you may wish to exercise these rights.

You have the right to complain to a Data Protection Authority about our collection and use of your information. For more information, please contact your local data protection authority in the European Economic Area (EEA).
